Effective date: September 27, 2026
By playing FLUX you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not play. FLUX is operated by Jerome Tadaya, a sole proprietorship based in Union City, California.
Anyone may play FLUX, including children. FLUX is built so that nobody has to give personal information to play: there is no account, every pilot starts with a name from a word list, and we collect no personal information beyond what is needed to run the game. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what that is.
The store is closed. Before it opens, these terms will be updated to say who may make purchases. Until then, no purchases can be made.
FLUX counts anonymous gameplay statistics on its own server (for example how many runs are played and which links bring players back), with no third-party trackers and no advertising. The Privacy Policy says exactly what is counted and that individual events are deleted after 90 days.
Your FLUX ID is your pilot name. FLUX starts you with one made from a fixed list of safe words and a number, for example SWIFT COMET 42. You can change it with EDIT: a typed name must be one word, letters and numbers only, up to 12 characters. Full names, and names that look like an email address, phone number or web link, are not allowed. Your FLUX ID appears publicly on the global leaderboard and the World Grid.
You agree not to choose a FLUX ID that is obscene, harassing, hateful, impersonates another person or organisation, or infringes anyone's rights. We may change a pilot name, or remove the leaderboard entry that goes with it, if it breaks these terms.
FLUX has no accounts and no passwords. Your identity is stored on your device. If you clear your browser data or delete the app, your FLUX ID and personal best are gone and cannot be recovered by us. A restore code you saved from the game menu lets you restore your pilot yourself.
You agree not to:
FLUX checks submitted scores for plausibility and applies a short cooldown between submissions. We may remove entries we believe to be fabricated, and may block submissions from a player identifier that repeatedly submits impossible scores. We make no guarantee that every fabricated score is caught.
FLUX is provided as-is and as-available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the game, the leaderboard, or any part of it at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Once FLUX has loaded successfully at least once, core gameplay works offline. The leaderboard, the World Grid, and purchases require a connection and will tell you so when one is unavailable.
FLUX sells optional cosmetic skins. They change how the game looks. They do not affect gameplay, scoring, or difficulty.
You are buying a licence to use the skin within FLUX. You do not own it, and it cannot be transferred, sold, or used outside FLUX.
Purchase recovery. Purchases are linked to the player identifier stored on the device. FLUX does not provide accounts. The game menu shows a restore code for your pilot; entering that code in FLUX restores the pilot and the purchases linked to it, including on a new device. Anyone who has the code can use the pilot, so keep it private. If you lose both the restore code and your device data, we may not be able to restore your pilot or your purchases. The store will remain closed until this recovery process has been tested on real devices.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your payment details on Stripe's checkout page. FLUX never receives your card number.
Prices are shown before purchase and are charged in the currency displayed at checkout. A skin unlocks only after Stripe confirms payment. A cancelled or failed checkout unlocks nothing and charges nothing.
All purchases are final, except where the law requires a refund or where a purchase fails to unlock the skin you paid for. To request a refund, email playfluxofficial@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase, with your FLUX ID and the date of the purchase.
Your statutory rights, where they apply, are not affected by this section.
FLUX — including its code, artwork, name, and design — belongs to Jerome Tadaya. You may play it. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from it without permission.
We may remove leaderboard entries, change a pilot name, or block submissions from a player identifier that breaks these terms. Because FLUX has no accounts, this is the practical limit of what suspension means.
FLUX is provided without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be error-free, that scores will never be lost, or that the leaderboard will always be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability relating to FLUX is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Alameda County, California.
We may update FLUX and these terms. When the terms change, the effective date above changes. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
